I'm Engaged
That's right folks, the guy who swore off women a little more than a year ago is now engaged. I popped the question to Rebecca tonight, and she was crazy enough to say yes.
We're planning a May of 2009 wedding...and I can't wait!!!
I got married 8 years ago this Decemeber 2000. We got married through a JP because traditional weddings are to expensive and we are not religious people. Besides we wanted to get married right away, which is why we went with a JP.
I will be married 35 years this summer. I can honestly say that if it were not for my wife I would not have made it to this ripe old age. (I like to joke that it was the best ten years of my life.)
Best wishes - don't wait too long to marry her. A May 2009 wedding might give her too much time to change her mind.
