Due to the high turnover rate. My best buddy Charles, here has been with the Government at the Royal Alberta Museum. In all the 18 years he's been there he's never had any trouble.

Day security is a bit harder but i'm seriously thinking about getting out of the call center business for security. The hardest part about security guard work is staying awake!Jim Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14895801842393170545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16939453.post-4168386972561619152008-12-11T03:38:00.000-07:002008-12-11T03:38:00.000-07:00I hope you get the transfer J. These jobs especially the graveyard shifts are pretty slack. I'm serious.

In 1994 I used to have a job with Whackenhut security. The site was the Pacific Rim Mall. It was a small site a patrol took 10 minutes and I sat on my but and read and did a bit of writing as well and drank coffee. I was unsupervised, the only downside of the job at the time was it was just 3 days a week on the weekends from 7-2am but I got a ride home.

I worked in security for about 2 years off and on and I never got into any trouble, except with the supervisors. You might want to consider a job in security. Starting wage for a job like that here is $15/hour. The only thing you might not like about security guard work is you'd have to get a haircut :-)

Just a thought.Jim Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14895801842393170545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16939453.post-55450014172213722072008-12-10T05:36:00.000-07:002008-12-10T05:36:00.000-07:00Take every stumble as a sign for greatness. Everything happens for a reason, it's just difficult to see at the time of the bad things happening. Chin up and all that, but most importantly believe that good things will come of this.Sarah Butlandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04273012287632649177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16939453.post-62876038366157789552008-12-09T23:27:00.000-07:002008-12-09T23:27:00.000-07:00wow...sorry to hear about that. hard to keep up t...wow...sorry to hear about that. hard to keep up the holiday spirit when they grinch all over you. who knows, maybe it's a good thing and you'll be able to laugh about it down the road. let's just hope you don't have to wait 10 years to chuckle about it ;)Spencerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15082458442650045892noreply@blogger.com
